Alessandro Volo in his own words:
Originally from Sicily, I graduated in electrical and electromechanical engineering, and I also completed three years of mechanics at the Galileo Galilei Institute of Caltanissetta.
At the age of 10, I had the wonderful experience of fishing with my grandfather in the Mediterranean. This early passion led me to specialize in sailboats and sailing vessels when I arrived here. I have gained valuable experience working on multiple ships as a first officer, and in some instances, I have also served as captain.
My background includes time spent on a fishing boat, which has provided me with practical fishing skills. My ultimate aspiration is to become the captain of my own ship, and I am continuously learning and growing, thanks to various opportunities provided by Playgrounds. ๐

Kevin Durán, born in Alajuela, grew up with his mother before moving to Guanacaste to live with his father, who worked near the ocean. Kevin later settled in Tamarindo
Kevin's love for the ocean began early with sport fishing and maintaining sailing catamarans. He studied at the University of Costa Rica in Liberia and continued practicing water sports and working as a captain and guide in various charters
With his extensive experience and great personality, Kevin is our first mate at Playgrounds CR. He considers this a dream job, combining his passion with his skills as a bartender and cook. We are confident he will make your experience at Playgrounds special.
